154 Symposium--Positioning Agronomy, Crops and Soils for K-12 Science: Standards and Resources

Though agronomy, crops, and soils are largely responsible for feeding and clothing the population, these sciences are underrepresented in K-12 curricula. The Tri-Societies are working to increase the visibility of our disciplines in K-12 education by developing learning activities and resources for teachers. Soils and Crops K-12 standing committees will give progress reports. K-12 educators will be invited to speak. Members with experience in K-12 outreach are encouraged to present.
