Coupled Biogeochemical Cycles in Soils
Oral SessionS07 Forest, Range & Wildland Soils
The biogeochemical cycling of soil water, nutrients, and carbon are linked to varying degrees. For this session we invite presentations on studies that have examined interactions among the cycles of at least two or more constituents (i.e. water, individual nutrients or other elements, carbon, etc.). Possible topics include but are not limited to the role of carbon in N transformations, the role of hydrology in the flux of carbon and nutrients from soils, the role of nutrients in controlling soil C cycles, etc.
