10 Graduate Student Leadership Conference: I

Special Sessions
The Graduate Student Committee proposes to host a Leadership Conference to help current graduate students enhance life-long skills in professionalism, communication and leadership through various workshop style sessions. This conference will take place over two days and will serve the primary purpose of providing graduate students with resources that they may not have access to through their coursework and research. Each of the three main conference sessions will be facilitated by one or more speakers and will have a strong interactive component. Attendees will leave with many resources to be successful in their remaining time as students and throughout their careers.

-Dinner with Keynote Speaker

-Networking Social


Sunday, November 2, 2014

-Leadership Workshop (Leadership Styles, Conflict Management, Team-Building)

-Lunch with ASA-CSSA-SSSA Leadership

-Communication Workshop (Teaching Methods, Presentation Methods, Extension & Outreach)
