Abstract:
Some students entering college do not know what career path they want to take nor do they know the variety of opportunities (subject matter) that is available. Other students enter knowing exactly what they want to do only to question their career path as they matriculate (move through) their prescribed curriculum. The objective of this presentation is to articulate the process that our students grow through in their educational experience. Our subjects are students across the disciplines of Agriculture and Biology. We will look at successes, failures and challenges that we face in the 21st century at a non-land grant agricultural college.
