Abstract:
US agriculture must respond to an ever-mounting set of demands on its productivity, efficiency, and stewardship of natural resources. The US Long-Term Agroecosystem Research (LTAR) Network works to advance the sustainability of US agroecosystems. Using historical case studies and on-farm modeling, LTAR scientists are working to elucidate the challenges and opportunities facing agriculture across the network’s 18 sites.
