Weed control in agricultural landscapes has been dominated by the use of herbicides over the past 75 years. Herbicide resistance, environmental stewardship and threats from invasive species create new challenges. Technology, molecular tools, and improvements to integrated weed management can provide solutions for controlling weeds in the 21st century.
