Abstract:
The Global Food Security Research Strategy identifies critical research priorities including identifying common areas of inquiry relevant across US federal government science granting agencies to advance global food security goals. Through partnership with national governments, NGOs, research institutions, and the private sector, the strategy examines how partnerships will be critical to solving the complex challenges of hunger, poverty, and malnutrition. This session will outline synergies among federal agencies and opportunities among diverse partners to address key issues around food systems, gender, natural resource management, and resilience.
