Managing Global Resources for a Secure Future

2017 Annual Meeting | Oct. 22-25 | Tampa, FL

84 Enhanced-Denitrification Technologies (includes student competition)

Oral Session
ASA Section: Environmental Quality
Loss of nitrate from agricultural systems to ground and surface waters is a well-documented local, regional, and global challenge. Enhanced-denitrification practices specifically targeted for this issue include constructed wetlands, bioreactors, saturated riparian buffers, and denitrification walls. Abstracts discussing all aspects of these practices including their nutrient removal efficiencies, impacts, and adoption are invited.

Approved for SW 2.0 CEUs
