Managing Global Resources for a Secure Future

2017 Annual Meeting | Oct. 22-25 | Tampa, FL

64 Symposium--Next Generation Trait Mapping & Molecular Breeding for Accelerating Genetic Gains

Oral Session
C07 Genomics, Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology
This symposium will have both invited as well as contributed presentations in the area of novel trait discovery approaches such as genome-wide association studies, nested association mapping, multi-parents advanced genetic cross (MAGIC) mapping, QTL-seq/ Seq-BSA and modern genomics-assisted breeing approaches such as genomic selection and forward breeding. Deployment of these approaches will help accelerating genetic gains in crop breeding.
