This will include a tribute to Norman Borlaug (wheat) and Hank Beachell (rice), possibly with speakers from IRRI, CIMMYT to review what was and where we going. Other possible presentations on related areas are genetic gain, developing countries issues, use of marginal land, and policy barriers.
