Symposium--Strengths and Limitations of Methods, Tests and Models for Making Nitrogen Recommendations for Corn and a Framework for Improving Recommendations

Oral Session

ASA Section: Agronomic Production Systems

This session will provide a concise summary of the strengths and limitations of current nitrogen recommendations methods, tests and models for corn. The presentations will emphasize prediction of nitrogen fertilizer needs for individual corn fields. Our goal is to present the latest research and thinking about the capability of nitrogen recommendations to predict the nitrogen needs for corn.
