72 Symposium--Social Media in the Classroom and in the Field

Oral Session
ASA Section: Education & Extension
Social media use is expanding at a rapid pace, leaving many so far behind that it feels impossible to catch up. It’s use by younger generations, however, continues to increase and academics and extensions specialists will benefit from harnessing its power. This symposium will provide an overview of the available social media networks available and provide information relative to their effective use in the classroom and in the field.
