395 Symposium--Contemporary Approaches to Student Learning & Extension Education

Oral Session
C05 Turfgrass Science
Individual attitudes and approaches to learning (both traditional resident students and life-long learners/industry professionals) continue to change rapidly with the availability and ease of "on-the-go" technology.  There may no longer be a "need" for a traditional classroom setting with an instructor to learn content, but many students still desire those individual connections. These presentations will provide an overview of some of the novel and emerging instructional and communication trends used to continue to engage and inspire life-long learning as well as facilitate the dissemination of current information.
