Abstract:
The goals of precision ag have always been about making better decisions that improve efficiency and profitability. In order to be converted in to decisions, data must be translated through agronomic and economic models. After over a decade of wider adoption of precision ag technologies, what spatial and temporal data are actually used to make a decision for management? This talk will review the approaches that precision ag service providers are actually taking to make management decisions. Further, what technologies are under-developed and are hindering the next-level of implementation for decision ag solutions.
