418 Nutrient Management and Environmental Quality General Poster (includes student competition)

Poster Session
ASA Section: Environmental Quality
Nutrient loss and water quality degradation are important issues within the rural and urban communities in the USA and worldwide. This poster session will include all papers associated with nutrients, water quality issues, and innovative solutions. Specific topics can include: BMPs to reduce N and P losses in erosion, runoff, and leaching Nutrient loss assessment tools; Innovative approaches to reducing nutrient imbalances at the field, farm, and watershed scales; Efficient nutrient source management; Methods to identify critical areas for potential nutrient loss; Scientific information transfer to aid in policy and regulation development.
