The prospect of growth synergy is excellent for these two agricultural products companies, which have many complementary products, technologies, and market strengths. Unlocking this potential, however, will require alignment on common values and a culture that embraces Clarity, Speed, and Agility in a fast paced agricultural market. Moreover, to develop a mindset of creating disruptive technology options and a market-shaping posture in such a large enterprise will require leadership and accepting that this new company is not merely a larger version of the two legacy divisions. This paper will outline the journey to create the new Agricultural Products company from regulatory approvals to establishment of our compass and priorities.
